Technical Support Analyst – Norwich, East Anglia - £35k + benefits

Technical Support Analyst is required by our exciting major uk employer who are in the throes of setting up a brand new technology centre in the heart of Norwich. This is a role and an organisation that is offering real scope to progress and evolve with pace working on end to end contemporary projects as well as bau.
The purpose of this position is to provide 3rd line support to the Client Service Desk, Network and Infrastructure team, Technology Service Desk, Technology Projects and company user population plus a range of administrative tasks from the ordering of services and equipment to problem diagnosis and resolution.

Must Have

  • Working toward an official Microsoft certification (i.e. MCSE) or minimum 2+ years’ commercial experience at equivalent level (preferably M365/Cloud orientated certification and/or experience).
  • Thorough knowledge and management experience of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Microsoft patch management experience at enterprise level for workstations and servers.
  • Good scripting skills, particularly Powershell.
  • Good customer service and 3rd party supplier coordination/handling skills.


  • Commercial experience managing Exchange on-premise (and/or Exchange online).
  • Working toward VMware certified professional (VCP-DCV).
  • Working toward Veeam certification or commercial experience at equivalent level (VMTSP or VMCE).
  • Experience of migrations to M365
  • Microsoft Azure management experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (minimum Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio).
  • Knowledge of networking, parking equipment, intercoms and CCTV (not essential).
  • ITIL certification.
