
Software Implementation Consultant, Brighton, East Sussex
Key Responsibilities
· Work closely with and under the direction of senior colleagues to implement client software
Products
· Assist with training of client staff
· Assist with preparation and amendment of suitable product documentation
· Be involved in ‘hand holding’ at client sites to ensure smooth transition of new implementations
· Carry out chargeable work to achieve company targets to include timely submission of accurate weekly time sheets
· As knowledge of product increases in line with career progression assist with database procedures, report writing and email alerts
· Maintain diary in line with other members of team and make appropriate travel arrangements when requested
· Allow for clients in differing time zones which will involve working flexibly and being available out of normal UK working hours
· Assist Sales Executives with pre-sales as and when required
· Any other duties that may be required from time to time
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
· Education to degree or equivalent level
· Fluent verbal and written English
· Ability to work in a team and on own when necessary with a flexible working attitude at all times
· Accounting qualification or at least two years relevant experience with an accounting firm or equivalent post
· Experience with implementing accounting systems and/or practice management systems desirable but not essential
· Experience with accounting packages desirable
· Ability to be able to travel at short notice
