Infrastructure/Storage Analyst - VMWare & Netapp SAN, Crawley West Sussex
VMware, Netapp, SAN, Infrastrcture / Storage Analyst is required by our London Gatwick based client.
Company:
Enterprise level company require an experienced Infrastructure/Storage Support Analyst with strong VMWare and Netapp SAN experience to join them.
Role:
Working with the Data Centre operations team the Systems Analyst Systems Analyst is responsible for the day to day management of the storage and virtual infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
· Monitoring and management of the services to meet required availability targets.
· Day to day operations and management of Storage and Virtual Infrastructure. Including the provisioning of new services.
· Day to day operations and management of Virtual guest servers upto and including Operating systems level.
· Development and implementation of best practise for systems operations (SYSOPS) and establish active database management plans in conjunction.
Experience :
Essential:
· 2 - 3 years Operational administration and management of complex storage environments management ideally Netapp.
· 2 3 years Operational Experience of managing large scale VMware environments ideally supporting both Wintel and Linux platforms Vsphere would be an advantage.
Desirable:
· Microsoft Certified engineer or equivalent experience of Microsoft Operating systems.
· Red hat Systems Administrator or equivalent skills/experience.
· ITIL foundation certificate or equivalent experience of working with ITIL process.
