A Senior Data Engineer is required to join one of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK at an important time when they are launching a new cloud data platform. This role will see you take ownership of the development of the new AWS new platform which will play a major role in the continued growth of this fantastic tech business.
Required skills:
- You will be proficient in the design and build of data pipelines using Python to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources.
- SQL Server – you must be highly skilled in writing complex SQL statements and data transformations in SQL.
- An experienced Python programmer.
- Airflow experience or similar is required
Additional skills:
- Skills and expertise in cloud technology, S3, Presto, Hive & NoSQL database
- Knowledge and experience of Kinesis Firehose, DynamoDB and Kubernetes is a bonus.
You will also be working with a broad array of modern technologies within this role and you will be given the chance to continuously expand your skill set. The environment you will be working in is very supportive and somewhere you will be a part of a team moving in the same direction. This role this a largely remote position, however the candidate will need to be within commutable distance to the London or Hampshire offices.
