Infosec Analyst

The Role:
Respected international Financial Services organisation is looking for an Infosec Support Analyst to help support and protect their technical infrastructure. This role would suit a Junior Infrastructure Support Analyst looking to move into more of a cyber security/Infosec role. You will have around 2 years’ experience supporting an enterprise environment (200+ users).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, execute and investigate patching requirements to keep our vulnerabilities to a low risk level
- Keep up to date with the latest cyber security and technology developments
- Research/evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them
- Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorised, or illegal activity
- Test and evaluate potential cyber security products
- Design and implement new security systems or upgrade existing ones
- identify potential weaknesses and implement measures, such as Firewalls and encryption
- monitor and respond to ‘phishing’ emails and ‘pharming’ activity
- Monitor and respond to Azure/Office 365 threat alerts activity
Key Requirements:
- Firewalls, Web Proxy, SIEM, Vulnerability Scanners, Data Security Analysis
- Intel plus Linux/UNIX knowledge/experience
- Azure & Active Directory
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Project management and risk management techniques
