Key Responsibilities:
Our client is a fast growing and very technically advanced company, looking for an SQL DBA to join their team
As a SQL Database Administrator you will provide specialized DBA support across Microsoft SQL Server database platforms. You will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and demonstrate the ability to make key technical decisions on your own accord. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Key Requirements:
- Providing operational support and continuous improvement of the SQL estate, processes for Development (System, Load, Performance), up to and including production
- Implementing best practice and ensuring database build standards are consistently applied and improved upon
- Undertaking database health checks, backups and implementing DBA best practice
- Demonstrable knowledge of database administration – design, installation and troubleshooting – of current MS SQL Server and Windows Server enterprise platforms
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Current Microsoft SQL Server versions
- Experience working within a development environment
Salary: 50-70k DOE
