Digital Product Owner is required by buoyant and tech savvy City based financial services organisation. The Digital Product Owner will join their growing Digital Experience Team, and will be the key link between the commercial business teams and the technical build team, to deliver their B2B and B2C propositions. You will own & deliver digital products and experiences for clients, driving commercial return and increased client engagement & satisfaction.

You will drive improvements in user experience, implementing feature developments and best practice through collaborative working with internal and external partners and informed by customer insights/ analytics. You will search out best in class digital experiences to bring ancillary products and services to customers in a dynamically relevant and personalised way.
You will work with stakeholders to prepare viable, smaller, sprint ready 'stories', working closely and reviewing work with developers and User Experience during design and development to ensure effective delivery.

This role would be ideal for someone looking to join a strong, entrepreneurial culture and lead the digital product development within the team. You will be an experienced Product Owner or Business Analyst who is passionate about creating customer-centric products that impact the bottom line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a variety of digital projects working with internal teams from concept to launch
  • Work with and manage clients globally to support the Digital Experience Team to capture business requirements and share product updates regularly
  • Develop close working relationships with critical stakeholders across the business
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to help translate these business requirements into user stories and backlog deliverables
  • Post implementation, own the technical delivery of components/modular assets
  • Work with and effectively manage external design and development agencies
  • Collaborate closely within the Digital Client Experience team and with external partners to agree strategy for building intelligent customer journeys
  • Bring your own ideas and experience to support us with building out the best products and customer experience for our clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of journey mapping and User Experience (UX) and design best practices
  • Demonstrable experience managing the full development cycle of a product
  • Good all-round digital experience, including awareness of best practices and standards such as accessibility, usability, SEO and other web standards
  • Comfortable understanding data and turning it into actionable insight – experience using analytics and session tracking tools along with user testing would be helpful
  • Experience of working in Agile
  • Desire to innovate, develop skills and be curious about new digital technologies and trends, technology
  • Proficient in the use of digital tools, and how to use them to improve the customer experience
