Digital Content Specialist is required by a leading financial services organisation to work across their multiple websites/ brands. You will be responsible for creating and optimising new content as well as reviewing existing content to ensure it is fully optimised and on-brand. Working within a multi-disciplinary creative team you will also assist in educating stakeholders regarding the importance and power of good content. Key Responsibilities:
- Author and publishing content within the CMS
- Ensure all content is fully optimised for search engines, following the latest in best practice and user experience
- Make sure all content is factually correct, on-brand as per Tone of Voice guidelines, consistent and approved by all parties (stakeholders, legal and compliance teams)
- Help to evolve the content strategy based on data and feedback, and champion with other areas of the business
- Help with the creation of a Content Creation Training Curriculum, supporting with education, guidance and training in best practice approaches to content across all channels (SEO, websites, social media, email etc)
- Work with our internal teams and agencies to bring concepts and ideas to life
- Write articles, edit existing content, and share best practice for live sites and other projects that may arise
- Provide insight into what type of content works on various social / digital platforms
- Monitor the emergence of new platforms, technologies and content formats and offer insights into tactics that will increase engagement
- Implement and report on KPIs for all content created to support regional marketing and sales objectives
- Analyse data and analytics insights to design, manage and optimise the digital customer experience through a ‘test and learn’ approach
- Maximise brand visibility through SEO content, resulting in increased organic site traffic
Key Experience and Skills
- Experience in digital content creation and editing, underpinned with a thorough understanding of on-page SEO
- Experience working with a CMS such as Drupal, Umbraco, AEM and using dynamic content, segmentation and personalisation
- Proficient in the use of digital tools and interpreting data to turn it into actionable insight to improve the customer experience
- Delivered customer experience initiatives, with clearly identifiable impacts
- Excellent stakeholder management with strong communication and influencing skills
- Self-starter and results-driven with the ability to plan and prioritise workload, managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Confident communicating professionally with stakeholders and able to adapt to language and cultural barriers, in order to meet briefs and gain stakeholder buy-in
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written, editing and proofreading skills - detail-oriented
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital content creation
- Good all-round digital marketing and communications experience, including awareness of best practices and standards such as accessibility, usability, SEO and other web standards.
