Application Support Analyst, Workplace
Salary: To £35K + Excellent Benefits

The Role:
Application Support Analyst is required by a buoyant and fast-moving financial services organisation. Within this role you will support users of the Workplace application (a social media platform used by businesses – similar to Facebook). Workplace experience is not essential as full training will be given. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator who enjoys working in a busy and varied role and has some experience in a helpdesk or first line support role. This is a great opportunity to join a fun and friendly internal communications team with great opportunities for further training and progression.

- Provide technical support for Workplace across the group globally. As part of the team, investigate, analyse and prioritise incidents and service requests
- Liaise with the IT Service Desk, local IT teams and Workplace’s Direct Support team to troubleshoot issues raised
- Carry out System Admin BAU for joiners, movers and leavers
- Fulfil profile and access change requests
- Undertake audits to identify invited users yet to claim accounts; connect with stakeholders and build good relations with local coordinators and IT teams to help drive platform adoption
- Take ownership of maintaining the admin panel; conduct routine and ad-hoc system housekeeping duties to ensure consistency of data across Workplace. Working towards the team’s mission for cleaner data
- Support the Workplace Community Manager with the technical set up of new M&A’s – such as domain verification, Azure AD set up and invitations
- Regularly monitor inactive groups to archive
- Develop a good working knowledge of Workplace – front and back end
- Keep up to date with system enhancements and changes
Key Requirements:

- Experience in a similar support or systems administration role is essential
- Previous experience using Workplace or other collaboration tools (desirable)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Good tone of voice and sensitive in delivering difficult feedback
- Great attention to detail, especially regarding spelling and grammar
- Agency and/or in-house experience welcome
- Reliable team player who can also work independently
- Self-motivated and proactive with a good sense of ownership, able to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks and adapt to last-minute requests
