Product Owner, Supply Chain

The Role:

Product Owner with supply chain/warehousing experience is required by a thriving software house based in Worthing. Within this role you will assist in the development of the business’s key functions, services and products. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex technical problems and working closely with clients to develop solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a Roadmap with the Product Team
• Update and maintain documentation around the Product and Process
• Visit new customer sites to provide initial requirements gathering and gap analysis, including the production of a detailed Business Requirements Document
• Agree the detailed scope of the project with the customer
• Prioritise requirements against key business objectives
• Work with the Project Team Managers to ensure the business solution accurately reflects the customer requirement at all stages of the design and build process
• Draw up enhancement specifications, including wireframes, for new and existing customers
• Identify problems with the customer’s current ways of working and suggest ways in which this can be improved
• Propose one or more alternative ways to address the customer’s problems and requirements, and outline the relative costs and benefits of alternative approaches
• Use process modelling techniques to analyse the initial set of findings.

Key Requirements:

• 2-3 years Product Owner experience
• Warehouse Experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Requirements Analyst or Business Analyst Experience
• Excellent process thinker
• Proven As-Is and To-Be process mapping experience
• Microso Visio Tool experience (preferred)
• Wireframing or UX experience (desirable)
