Data Engineer, Azure 

The Role:

Data Engineer is required by vibrant and growing Insurance organisation. This is a key role within their data team that will see you help to drive forward challenging and exciting data initiatives. You will have experience of working on data platform projects, with strong Azure and Spark experience. You will have a background as a Data Engineer with previous experience of delivering data solutions using Azure services like SQL, ADF, Spark and Databricks. The role requires someone who can be hands-on but able to support with solution reviews and designs, ensuring best practice and providing assurance on development approach.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in Azure platform architecture and developing data engineering pipeline.
• Experience in SQL and Python (Spark) and Databricks Delta Lake
• Experience of working as a Data Engineer or similar role (preferably at least 3 years)
• Proven track record in Data Engineering and supporting the business to gain true insight from data
• Proven experience working with insurance data
• Experience with data tools (e.g. ADF, Python, Analysis Services (DAX) and )
• Experience with good development practices and automation
