The Role:
Business Analyst, Insurance Broking – Lloyds of London
London / Remote
To £600 day rate, 6-month contract min.
Business Analyst is required by thriving Insuretech organisation to work across a programme of work that enables increased operational efficiency through the delivery of an end-to-end sustainable Broking Platform solution, using technology to optimise the insurance processing lifecycle and applications within it.
You will have London market experience within a broker or insurer. Experience of claims is an advantage.
This is a business-critical role where you will offer lifecycle expertise to the senior business stakeholders and programme management team.
Key Responsibilities:

- Requirements gathering and analysis for programme and project, using a variety of methodologies: (functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, backlog, traceability)
- Planning, managing and running workshops, interviews and prototyping sessions in order to elicit requirements
- Work with Product Managers or act as the Product Owner on projects to build and maintain product backlogs which can be used to gain stakeholder agreement as well as provide suitable information to developers to build/configure products
- Becoming an expert in system requirements during the implementation of a project
- Managing scope change and requirements during implementation
- Managing the Business Analysis interface with the development and testing teams
- Configuration of business systems
- User Acceptance Testing management and support the creation of associated test scripts
- Providing training and production of reference documentation for new systems
Key Requirements:
Key Requirements:
- Experience as a Business within a broker or insurer. Experience of claims is an advantage.
- London Market / Lloyds experience is essential.
- Knowledge of workflow design and implementation of workflow design and implementation of new workflows
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- MoSCoW, SWOT, PESTLE, RACI Charts, stakeholder mapping and other methodologies
- Conveying information using various artefacts such as: conceptual architecture, mock up screens and wireframe
