Full Stack Developer – React, Node.js

The Role:

Full Stack Developer sought for innovative company within the education tech space.

This role will see you leading the development of the ed-tech platform, leaving you with full freedom of all technical decisions. The ideal candidate will be confident working full stack, with solid experience in React, Node.js and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining our pre-existing edtech system across the stack
• Developing new features, with the potential for the creation of new applications from scratch.
• Ensuring healthy application uptime
• Maintaining our AWS setup
• Working closely with stakeholders to ensure they are getting the most out of our products

Key Requirements:

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of frontend JS frameworks (React preferred)
• Strong grasp of backend development and NodeJS
• Working knowledge of AWS is useful
• Experience with high level technical decision making
• Ability to steer product from a technical perspective
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, MongoDB experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure technical information can be shared with the rest of the team
• You are very comfortable working independently and communicating remotely
• You take pride in your code and an interest in the projects
• You create extensible and maintainable code
