Business Analyst, Insurance Systems

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead workshops or other methods of interaction to elicit business requirements and solution objectives.
• Act as lead contact on Broker client engagements from a functional/technical delivery perspective
• Translate detailed business requirements into working software solutions using software products and configuration tools.
• Adhere to and contribute to the enhancement of best practice design and configuration of software products
• Work collaboratively with the client and project teams to drive delivery of the agreed solution
• Mentor and guide team members throughout the client solution delivery process
• Software configuration/Solution testing/validation/issue resolution
• Confidently demonstrate product solutions in new client engagements
• Lead and participate in internal quality reviews of solution delivery processes
• Lead and drive client solution delivery quality activities
• Prepare Business Requirements and Technical solution documentation
• Provide inputs to project work estimates
• Lead/Support the process of transitioning completed projects into support

Key Requirements:

• Insurance Broking domain expertise – retail and Wholesale including Lloyds and Company market knowledge
• SQL skills including the ability to construct SQL queries, views, triggers and stored procedures
• Strong client/stakeholder management skills
• A detailed understanding of the full project delivery life cycle
• A high level of attention to detail with strong documentation skills
