Systems Analyst, Insurance, London Market

The Role:

Senior Systems Analyst is required by vibrant Insurance organisation. This role will be primarily responsible for liaising with clients to capture and translate customer business and technical requirements into a working business system solution utilizing their global specialty software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with Broker client SME’s in workshops or other methods of interaction to elicit business requirements and solution objectives
• Technical Lead on Broker client engagements from a functional/technical delivery perspective
• Translate detailed business requirements into working software solutions
• Adhere to and contribute to the enhancement of best practice design and configuration
• Create and update complex solution configuration on the Global Specialty Software products
• Work collaboratively with the stakeholders and project teams to drive delivery of the agreed solution
• Software configuration/Solution testing/validation/issue resolution
• Lead and participate in internal quality reviews of solution delivery processes
• Prepare Business Requirements and Technical solution documentation
• Provide inputs to project work estimates

Key Requirements:

• Insurance Broking domain expertise – Retail/Wholesale including Lloyds and Company market knowledge
• Insurance Broking system knowledge covering Products, Placing, Underwriting, Claims, IBA Finance and Market Messaging
• Experienced in the Implementation/Configuration of Broking PAS systems
• SQL skills including the ability to construct SQL queries, views, triggers and stored procedures
• Strong client/stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of common Broking PAS system integrations
• Knowledge of on premise and cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge in the use of SOAP & REST based API’s
• A detailed understanding of the full project delivery life cycle
