PMO Manager sought by prestigious retail brand. This is a fully greenfield role seeing you implement their IT PMO from scratch and then running it alongside the central IT team. You will also be responsible for creating & embedding resource management processes across the group, providing visibility of work (including Projects, BAU work and unplanned work) and helping to understand the right level of resource needed to deliver various initiatives.

This role will create strategies for the effective definition, planning, monitoring and delivery of the overall change portfolio; and assure the overall integrity and coherence ensuring reporting and MI are of the highest quality to support the success of the portfolio.

Key Requirements:

• Previus PMO Management experience ideally in a small – medium sized organisation where you are the also the “do-er”.
• Has operated at a Lead or Manager level previously with experience of coaching, developing and improving PMO functions.
• Proven resource management experience, and ideally has created & embedded resource management processes.
• Significant experience in the creation, deployment and management of processes, tools and frameworks to deliver change.
• Happy to be hands on supporting with reporting and the creation of board packs & presentations when needed.
• Experience in stakeholder management, providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Strong results-focused leadership skills, able to work collaboratively and influence.
• Significant project methodology knowledge (eg. SCRUM, PMP, PRINCE 2).
• Knowledge of portfolio tooling e.g. Jira, DevOps and ServiceNow.
• Understand the principles of programme management.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
