Lead .NET Developer, .Net Core

The Role:

Lead .NET Developer is required to join a buoyant City based Insurance organisation with offices in central London. Within this role you will manage a team of highly talented outsourced Developers working collaboratively with Architects and key stakeholders to deliver solutions. Our client is a progressive organisation who are keenly pursuing AI/ machine learning and pride themselves with on working with the latest technologies. The tech stack includes .Net Core using C#; APIs / Web Services; Azure PaaS; Azure DevOps and responsive HTML5. This is a hands-on role with an approximate 30/70 split of coding vs management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive technical designs and guidance from the solution architects and deliver solutions while ensuring adherence to the long term technical vision
• Work within agile teams of configurators, developers, testers, business analysts, architects and project managers to deliver constant value to the business
• Manage team with ownership for the quality and standards of technical delivery on all projects
• Personally deliver exceptional technical development

Key Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience of full stack programming experience with .Net Core using C#
• Extensive experience writing and consuming APIs / Web Services
• Extensive Azure PaaS Experience (Functions, Message Bus, Sql, Cosmos, Eventing, APIM)
• Experience with Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance, Security)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, CI/CD & Pipelines with Terraform / YAML (or equivalent)
• Experience with Git for source control/branching/merging (or equivalent)
• Exposure to responsive HTML5 / JavaScript
• Exposure to design, design patterns, documentation
• Experience with Salesforce or a Rules Engine a bonus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFE methodologies including design, development and deployment
