Lead Architect, C#, .net

The Role:

Lead Architect with extensive .net experience is required by innovative, growth subsidiary of a leading insurance group. This role will join their architecture team and will be at the heart of designing the future of digital insurance interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a small architecture team, producing technical designs and giving developer guidance to deliver solutions from the Product Team requirements
• Own the long-term technical vision for the application architecture and set the quality and standards for technical delivery
• Work within an agile team of configurators, developers, testers, business analysts, architects and project managers to deliver constant value to the business
• Stay up to date with insurance and technical trends and directions incorporating strategic technologies that improve business outcomes

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a similar Architecture role, ideally leading a small team
• Experience with modelling tools and architectural frameworks
• Extensive experience of full stack programming experience with .Net Core using C#
• Extensive technical design skills and documenting of architectures
• Extensive experience writing and consuming APIs / Web Services
• Extensive Azure PaaS Experience (Functions, Message Bus, Sql, Cosmos, Eventing, APIM)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, CI/CD & Pipelines with Terraform / YAML (or equivalent)
• Exposure to responsive HTML5 / JavaScript
• Business knowledge of Specialty Insurance a plus
