Software Project Manager

The Role:

Project Manager is sought by a leading software house to work across multiple products involving embedded systems and cloud-based back-office software. Within this role you will be responsible for managing software product development projects, customer-driven and product maintenance projects, and 3^rd party software service suppliers to meet commercial arrangements. Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering customer needs and requirements
• Managing stakeholders at all levels to coordinate and drive actions to completion
• Tracking and monitoring budget
• Managing project risks, issues and changes, with escalation as necessary
• Facilitating and documenting cross-functional meetings, document reviews, and prototype reviews
• Reporting regular project status to internal departments, customers, and senior management
• Ensuring projects get delivered on time, within budget and to customer satisfaction
• Following in-house Project Management and Development processes
• Contributing to continuous process and tool improvement activities
• Planning and reporting on tasks and objectives
• Monitoring Software Developer progress

Key Requirements:

Must have

• Experience of project managing software development
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Experience with Jira and Atlassian family products
• A proven track record of managing complex cross-functional technical projects
• Experience leading technical development teams and managing customer relationships
• Experience with developing Requirements Specifications with key stakeholders
• Experience with Cloud hosted software products

Preferred

• Experience coordinating with external development teams
• Experience as Requirements Analyst is a strong advantage
• Experience in Software Engineering methodologies an advantage
• PM certifications are an advantage
• Foreign language skills (especially in French, German, or Spanish) are an advantage
• Graduate degree preferable but not necessary
