The Role:

Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

We’re working with a technology-led organisation that is scaling its cloud-native platform and is now looking to appoint a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer.

This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll take ownership of Azure infrastructure, DevOps practices, and cloud security, working closely with architects and development teams in an agile environment. The platform is API-driven and operates at scale, so reliability, performance, and security are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of Azure cloud infrastructure
• Build and manage enterprise-scale landing zones, networking, and security
• Implement and improve CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep/ARM, and scripting
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define cloud standards
• Monitor performance, availability, and cloud costs

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Senior Azure Cloud / DevOps Engineer
• Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security
• Proven Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (Terraform, Bicep/ARM)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, SAST/DAST, and cloud monitoring
• Confident communicator with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
