The Role:
Desktop Support Analyst
£300-420/day contract, Inside IR35
London, West End, Onsite
We are working with a highly regarded, global financial services firm to appoint an experienced to join their London-based IT team.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for delivering excellent end-user support across physical and virtual endpoints, mobile platforms, telephony, and AV environments. This is a hands-on role with strong stakeholder exposure, where you will take ownership of issues end-to-end and contribute to both BAU support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality desktop, mobile, telephony and AV support
- Deploy, configure and maintain laptops, workstations and VC equipment
- Own incidents and requests through to resolution via ServiceNow
- Support IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Deliver user training on new technologies
- Contribute to and occasionally lead support-related projects
- Identify and implement process and workflow improvements
Key Requirements:
- 1–5 years’ End User Support experience and a Bachelor’s degree (certifications desirable)
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Intune and ServiceNow
- Solid networking fundamentals and experience with Microsoft 365, VoIP/VC technologies and cloud platforms
- Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and strong ownership mindset
