The Role:

Senior Full Stack .NET Developer – Contract – Brighton/Hybrid

We’re currently working with an important tech driven client based in Brighton who are looking to bring in a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension.

This is an opportunity for a senior-level contractor who is comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of a fairly isolated live project. The system is already in production and performing well overall, however there are ongoing Legacy data quality issues which require investigation, fixes, and long-tail support.

The original development team are moving onto another project, so they’re looking for someone who can step in quickly, understand the platform, and manage the ongoing enhancements and data remediation work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET Core
• Current solution built in .NET 8 (moving to .NET 10)
• Strong SQL skills, including data analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience investigating and resolving data quality/Legacy data issues
• Comfortable testing your own code
• Experience with Req’n’Roll (formerly SpecFlow) would be highly beneficial
• SQL performance tuning experience desirable, but not essential

Key Requirements:

Contract Details

• Initial 6 -month contract
• Potential extension beyond initial term
• Ideally 3 days per week onsite
• However, due to current office capacity, the client is also happy to consider fully remote contractors

This role would suit a hands-on senior developer who enjoys problem solving, data investigation, and taking ownership of a live business-critical application.

Outside IR35, 6 months with potential to extend.
