Senior Business Analyst (Salesforce)

Contract: 12 months | Outside IR35 Rate: Circa £650/day Location: London, 4 days/week on-site

About the Role

A well established organisation with operations across the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Salesforce expertise to support a key technology programme.

This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical architects to shape and deliver system enhancements across the full project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate requirements-gathering workshops across multiple stakeholder groups
• Map current and future-state business processes and systems
• Analyse and document cross-functional technology change impacts, including upstream/downstream effects
• Produce standardised, high-quality user stories and functional designs that translate cleanly into technical specifications
• Work closely with developers, architects, and product owners to shape technical solutions to business requirements
• Define acceptance criteria and success measures; support QA testing and test plan development
• Deliver regular status reporting and system impact assessments to stakeholder groups

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including 5+ years at Senior level, in complex technology environments
• Extensive, hands-on Salesforce expertise (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud)
• Experience with systems development, integration projects, and multi-million-pound programmes
• Azure DevOps essential; familiarity with Microsoft Azure (SaaS/PaaS) desirable
• Strong track record of producing clear, actionable requirements and functional specifications, with evidence of translating these into technical high-level designs
• Demonstrable experience facilitating workshops and influencing senior/C-suite stakeholders
• Evidence of quantifiable impact, eg cost savings, efficiency gains, or successful delivery outcomes from previous engagements
• Comfortable working independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; resilient under pressure
