The Role:

Solutions Architect, Applications

£950/day, Inside IR35, Min 9-month contract, Hybrid (3 days in London office)

Newly created contract with a well-established insurance firm, leading solutions architecture for the redevelopment and cloud deployment of their core global financial system.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll be leading strategic technical design across cross-functional teams, defining and enforcing core design principles, and overseeing delivery of specific technology solutions aligned to business objectives. You’ll also produce comprehensive architectural documentation and act as the bridge between business needs and technical capability.

Key Requirements:

What we’re looking for:

Proven Solutions Architect experience within the insurance industry
Track record of legacy-to-modern system migrations (software/hardware/integration)
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment strategies
Solid grasp of modern IT infrastructure, SDLC, and DevOps practices
Demonstrable London Market software selection, delivery, and integration experience
Knowledge of the Insurance Policy/Claims Admin System landscape

£950/day, Inside IR35, minimum 9-month contract, hybrid — 3 days in the office.
