Desktop Support Analyst

The Role:

Desktop Support Analyst | Dublin | Contract | On-site
Initial 6 month contract €200 – €250 a day

We are partnering with a prestigious investment bank to appoint a Desktop Support Analyst to their IT Support team in Dublin.

The role is open to candidates starting their IT career, as well as service desk professionals with some experience. Experience in financial services or supporting on a trading floor will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

– First-line support for hardware, software and end-user issues

– Troubleshooting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, VPN and network connectivity

– Building and deploying devices, including new starter setups

– Logging incidents and escalating complex issues to senior engineers

Key Requirements:

– Up to three years in IT support or service desk, or hands-on IT experience through education, internships or projects

– Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and core networking concepts

– Strong troubleshooting skills and a professional, customer-focused manner

– A degree, diploma or equivalent in IT or a related field

Desirable: Intune, Active Directory, ServiceNow, CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals, and exposure to Bloomberg or trading desk support.
