Senior Category Manager – Procurement

The Role:

Well-known Digital marketplace is looking for a Procurement Category Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid role (2 days in their Portsmouth office, 3 days from home) minimum 3-month contract, with a high-chance of renewal and/or permanent conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate exceptional supply contracts, to maximise value
• Oversee Vendor Management
• Strong category expertise across Marketing, HR, Facilities, Finance, Operations, with knowledge of suppliers in this space
• Drive contract completion
• Procurement advice

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar procurement/contract specialist role – 8+ years is ideal
• Solid contract negotiation experience.
• Ideally – Marketing Procurement background
• Ideally – CIPs qualification.
