VIP Support Engineer

The Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced VIP IT Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will provide high-level technical assistance and support to an exclusive VIP client, ensuring their IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical support to the CEO of a prestigious organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the 24/7 primary point of contact for VIP clients, providing exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Proactively monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring maximum uptime and performance for VIP users.
- Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, prioritizing issues based on their impact on VIP clients’ operations.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed, following best practices and security protocols.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and recommend improvements to enhance VIP clients’ IT infrastructure and workflows.
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support roles, with a focus on providing support to VIP users or executives.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as networking concepts and protocols.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills. You will be working with people at all levels within the organization so this is an essential requirement!
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Some short-notice, occasional travel with the CEO will be required overseas.
This role is working in a hybrid capacity – 3 days in office (Tuesday to Thursday), 2 from home (Monday & Friday).
