IT Business Analyst

The Role:

We are supporting a global insurance and reinsurance organisation undergoing significant digital transformation. As part of continued investment in technology, data, and automation, they are seeking an IT Business Analyst to lead complex change initiatives across the insurance value chain.

This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, playing a critical part in shaping digital solutions that improve efficiency, resilience, and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis of complex business and IT requirements across insurance processes
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business strategy and translate needs into technology solutions
• Produce clear, high-quality requirements including user stories, process models, and non-functional requirements
• Act as lead Business Analyst on Agile and Waterfall projects, supporting end-to-end delivery
• Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to shape effective, future-proof solutions
• Support project planning, business testing, and successful implementation
• Ensure traceability of requirements and manage change throughout delivery
• Mentor and guide other Business Analysts on complex initiatives

Key Requirements:

• Experience delivering IT change within Insurance or Financial Services
• Proven experience working in Agile environments, maintaining delivery momentum
• Highly analytical, with the ability to solve complex business and technical problems
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels
• Confident influencing decisions, negotiating priorities, and managing expectations
• Experience leading or mentoring Business Analysts on large programmes
• Comfortable working in global, multi-cultural environments
• Strong organisational skills with a continuous-improvement mindset
• Passion for staying current with insurance, technology, and digital trends
