Programme Manager – Corporate Affairs & Digital Transformation
Salary: £90k – £100k base with completion bonus and full company benefits
Location: London/Hybrid
Job Type: Full Time
The Role:
An established, fast-growing financial services group is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a major Corporate Affairs technology and digital transformation agenda, while also supporting broader operational priorities within the function.
This is a standalone role and the first of its kind in the team. It will suit someone who enjoys building structure, coordinating senior stakeholders, and driving progress across multiple workstreams without needing a large delivery team beneath them.
The initial priority is ownership of a multi-year Corporate Affairs technology transformation programme, coordinating activity across brand, content, communications, research and sponsorship teams. While this role is not about hands-on system implementation, it carries full accountability for programme design, governance, progress tracking and outcomes.
Alongside this, you will spend c.20–25% of your time supporting operational and structural initiatives as the function matures.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology & digital transformation
- Lead the Corporate Affairs technology transformation programme, from business case through to delivery oversight
- Review existing tools and define what should be retired, replaced or scaled into enterprise platforms
- Design a clear roadmap to 2030, including workstreams, dependencies, KPIs and reporting
- Coordinate delivery across functional leads who own specific platforms (e.g. DAM, listening tools, sponsorship systems)
- Run vendor assessments, RFPs and selection processes, working closely with IT, Procurement and Enterprise Architecture
- Partner with Data and AI leaders to shape and embed an AI strategy that improves workflows and productivity
- Redesign service delivery workflows, user journeys and access models
- Own programme governance, risk management and senior stakeholder reporting
Operations & transformation support
- Support the development of shared services and centre-of-excellence operating models
- Help establish SLAs, reporting frameworks and performance KPIs
- Provide capacity during peak operational delivery periods
- Support process documentation and readiness for future corporate events (e.g. public listing)
Key Requirements:
- Proven programme management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Significant programme management experience in a corporate affairs, marketing, communications or media function within financial services
- Strong track record of technology-enabled transformation, without needing to be a technical specialist
- Comfortable operating autonomously and building programmes from first principles
- Confident engaging senior leaders across Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Technology and Operations
- Experience developing business cases, managing RFPs and working with external consultancies
- Experience in financial services or insurance strongly preferred
- Background exposure to marketing, media, communications or martech environments highly advantageous
- Pragmatic, resilient and organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Working pattern & contract details
- 12-month contract with potential to extend or convert
- Hybrid working, ideally three days per week in the office (flexibility available where needed)
This is a rare opportunity to shape a critical transformation programme inside a high-growth organisation, with real visibility and autonomy.
